He was previously the Director of the Build and Human Environment Research Institute at the University of Salford, the highest-ranked UK Institute in the Built Environment. His extensive knowledge of BIM and IPD has been implement on large scale construction projects valued at £540m. Prof. Alshawi and his team have demonstrated the vast benefits of utilizing these advanced technologies to transform the industry into the digitization area.
Jack is a construction project manager with over 40 years’ experience in AEC and academia. He has successfully led several national and international projects – from infrastructure development through to R&D solutions in commercial settings. This expertise also includes aligning innovation principles and drivers to create strategic capability and delivery of new business opportunities.
Ayad has a strong background in multidimensional business management and project management. He has a track record of serving in project director roles previously with multinational consultants and project management companies in the UAE.
Zubair is a qualified architect, has a master’s degree from the USA and several years of experience working in the USA, UAE and India. He has extensive experience in design management and information management using latest BIM tools and technologies.
Dr. Tariq has been on forefront of BIM implementation and R &D projects in the UK since 2010. He has played an instrumental role in several industry led, UK Government funded, technology development projects, while working with BIM academy at Northumbria university UK.
Shwan is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, having 27year experience in Design & Build Contracts, EPC and Consultancy environments. Serving in the UK and UAE as an MEP expert, he has hands-on knowledge of building servicing engineering and project management.
Ammar is a PhD candidate (BIM) at the University of Salford with more than 15 years of experience in Civil engineering. He has been involved in pioneering BIM maturity tools and practices since 2013. He has developed a unique maturity model reflecting the relationship between BIM benefits and organisational BIM competencies throughout projects’ life cycle.
